Dr. Kaitlyn Imamura is a veterinarian at Scottsdale Ranch Animal Hospital and loves to grow her relationships with her clients while educating them about their pet's health.
About Dr. Imamura
Dr. Kaitlyn Imamura (ee-muh-moo-ra) was born and raised in Southern California and has dreamt of becoming a veterinarian since she was a little girl. She attended Cal Poly Pomona and received her Bachelor of Science in Zoology in 2013. From there, she ventured off to the Great White North to study veterinary medicine at the Ontario Veterinary College in Ontario Canada. She graduated with her doctorate degree in 2018.
After graduating, she said, "Bye Bye!" to the freezing winters and moved back to sunny California to work in general practice for about four and half years. During this time, she met her fiancé who lived in Phoenix, Arizona, and from there decided to begin her next chapter with us in Scottsdale!
Along with caring for her patients, Dr. Imamura fell in love with veterinary medicine because she is able to make an impact on the human-animal bond her patients share with their owners. She loves to grow her relationships with her clients while educating them about their pet's health. She also has a strong interest in dermatology, acupuncture, and preventative care.
In her spare time, she loves to enjoy any outdoor activities, cheer for her Dodgers and try new restaurants! She is always looking for recommendations! She is so excited to meet you all and your fur babies!
